Sensex opens at 66,148.18 points
Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Monday opened at a new high at 66,148.18, rising 88 points on the strength of Metal, technology, and Power stocks.

The Nifty, too, rose 51.50 points to 19,616.
The stocks, which include metals, technology, and power, kept the rally intact in opening trade on Monday.
The midcap increased by 0.42 percent and the small cap by 0.99 percent.
In 30 scrips, 21 advanced while 9 declined.
The gainers were Wipro by 3.64 pc to Rs 419.70, Infosys by 1.62 pc to Rs 1448.50, Tata Steel by 1.58 pc to Rs 118.90, and Tech Mahindra by 1.51 pc to Rs 1244.
The losers were Bharti Airtel by 0.63 percent to Rs 1244 and ICICI Bank by 0.63 percent to Rs 880.95.
