Solar mission Aditya L 1 successfully undergoes second Earth-bound maneuvre: ISRO
The Indian Space Research Organisation on Tuesday said its mission to study the Sun-Aditya L1- has successfully undergone the second Earth-bound maneuvre.

The Indian space organisation posted on X: "The second Earth-bound maneuvre (EBN#2) is performed successfully from ISTRAC, Bengaluru."

The second Earth-bound maneuvre (EBN#2) is performed successfully from ISTRAC, Bengaluru.
ISTRAC/ISRO's ground stations at Mauritius, Bengaluru and Port Blair tracked the satellite during this operation.
The new orbit attained is 282 km x 40225 km.

ISRO said the next maneuvre (EBN#3) is scheduled to take place on September 10, around 02:30 hrs. IST.
ISRO successfully launched its maiden solar mission Aditya L-1 from Sriharikota on September 2.

Aditya-L1 was been launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, days after India's lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, successfully landed on the Moon.
It will approximately take 125 days to reach the Sun.
