I feel that Bengalis, who are such good people with so many qualities, have made their names known in different parts of our country, should be acknowledged. We should support them in any way possible."
The curtain raiser featured an exclusive fashion showcase and the felicitation of six eminent personalities for their contributions to their respective fields. The official 'Banglar Jatiyo Gorbo' trophy was also unveiled during this event.

Rituparna Sengupta said, "There are many Bengalis who are not identified yet, though they've contributed to the society in different ways. Bengalis are making themselves proud and marking their names high, in almost every field of work. So, I want to say that Bengalis should get recognition for their continuations in their respective fields, throughout the world."
Ghose said, "I would like to congratulate Sangita and her team, for this initiative. They've been doing it for the last three years. They're a small team, but very energetic, which is the most important thing. As we all know Bengalis are known for their energy level."
