IIM Ahmedabad to launch first international campus in Dubai
Ahmedabad: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is set to establish its first international campus in Dubai, marking a significant milestone.
Professor Bharat Bhasker, the institute’s director, announced the move during IIMA’s 60th convocation ceremony.
The first programme at the Dubai campus is scheduled to launch in September 2025, making IIMA the first Indian Institute of Management (IIM) to expand internationally.
New centre for case method learning established
IIMA has also announced the establishment of the Madan Mohanka Centre of Excellence in Case Method of Learning.
This initiative is supported by Madan Mohanka, an industrialist and IIMA alumnus from PGP 1967, and aims to enhance the case-based learning approach in management education.
IIMA collaborates with FPSB India for executive programme
Additionally, IIMA has partnered with FPSB India, the Indian subsidiary of Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB), to introduce an executive programme in financial planning and investment advisory services.
Designed for mid-to-senior-level finance professionals, the one-year programme will provide expertise in investment management, retirement and tax planning, estate and portfolio risk management, insurance, and alternative investments.
It will also offer insights into regulatory frameworks and ethical standards, aiming to strengthen structured financial planning education in India.
