Aurangabad woman gets husband killed to keep illicit affair with uncle, bearing striking similarity to Meghalaya murder
Bearing a chilling resemblance to the recent Meghalaya murder, a woman in Maharashtra's Aurangabad allegedly conspired her husband's murder just 45 days after their wedding, believing he was a hurdle in her illicit relationship with her uncle, media reports said.

Police have arrested three individuals, including the mastermind, Goonja Singh, the wife of the victim, Priyanshu alias Chhotu, who was shot dead on the night of June 24.
According to police, Priyanshu was returning to his village on a bike when he was fatally shot with the help of contract killers hired by his wife's maternal uncle, with whom she had an illicit relationship.
The police revealed that Goonja Singh was in an illicit relationship with her maternal uncle, Jeevan Singh.
After her marriage to Priyanshu, she considered him an obstacle to her continued relationship with Jeevan.
Unable to sustain the affair, Goonja and Jeevan allegedly decided to eliminate Priyanshu.
During interrogation, Goonja confessed her involvement in the deadly conspiracy.
Police said that Goonja did not want to marry Priyanshu but did so under pressure from her father.
On May 23, an Indore man, Raja Raghuvanshi, was murdered by contract killers who were hired by his wife, Sonam, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya.
The victim, Raja Raghuvanshi, 29, and his newly married wife, Sonam, 24, had gone missing on May 23.
A week later, Raja's body was recovered from a gorge. A search was conducted for Sonam, who eventually turned up in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur a week later.
