Speaking to media persons at Kangra airport in Himachal Pradesh, Dalai Lama replied to a question asking for his comment on Tawang issue Dalai Lama said , "Now things... Generally speaking, are improving, I think in Europe and Africa and also in Asia. Now China also is more flexible but there is no point to return to China. I prefer India, which is the best place."

Dalai Lama this morning departed for Kangra airport at around 10:30 am from his residence in Thekchen Choling and was greeted by Tibetan devotees on his way to the airport.

Dalai Lama left Dharamshala for a visit to Delhi and Bihar.

Dalai Lama is scheduled to stay in Delhi for two-three days and then he will go to Bodhgya in Bihar for spiritual teachings and other events.

Apart from a few meetings and events in Delhi, the Dalai Lama will have a health check up.

He said he will have a health check up for his physical condition but he has otherwise no problem.

He said he had a little pain in his left arm near the shoulder but there was no other problem.

As per his schedule, Dalai Lama is first visiting Gurgaon Salwan Education Trust, a school near Delhi, on December 21, which he had previously visited in 2017.

From December 29-31, the Dalai Lama will give a three-day teaching on Nagarjuna’s “Commentary on Bodhichitta” at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground in Bodhgaya, Bihar.

On January 1, 2023 the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will attend a Long Life Prayer offered to him by the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Tradition at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground.
