The elections in Mizoram will be held on November 7, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 23, Chhattisgarh on November 7 and 17 and Telangana on November 30.
The results of all the assembly elections will be declared on December 3.
In 2018, Congress had won in all three big states- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh- months ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
However, BJP turned the tide in a few months to return to power in 2019.
The saffron camp, which is led by its supreme leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is aiming to wrest power in the states particularly after the defeat in Karnataka earlier this year.
Despite the loss in 2019, BJP had later managed to gain back power in Madhya Pradesh following defections from Congress.
