Woman caught with stolen items
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday when the woman visited the Le Marche store at DLF Mall in Sector 18 along with her husband.
According to reports, the woman allegedly concealed jars of ghee and bottles of refined oil inside her bag while attempting to leave the store, while her husband was standing in the queue at the billing counter.
When security guards asked her to undergo a routine bag check at the exit, she reportedly refused and confronted a security guard, prompting other guards to intervene.

CCTV footage reveals theft
Store employees subsequently checked the CCTV footage and allegedly found that the woman had taken 1 kg of ghee and a 1 kg bottle of refined oil and placed them inside her bag.
The two items were recovered, following which the woman was reprimanded by the store staff. However, it remains unclear whether a formal complaint was lodged against her.
As per reports, the matter was settled after the woman paid for the items she had allegedly taken.
Staff claim previous incidents
In the viral video, one of the store employees is heard claiming that this was not the first time the woman had allegedly been involved in stealing from the store.
“She has stolen items thrice before at regular intervals,” the employee was heard saying.
The staffer further claimed that the incident marked the fourth time the woman had allegedly stolen items from the mall.
