India, Indonesian Defence officials meet in Bali, discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties
India and Indonesian Army staff members held talks on enhancing the bilateral defence cooperation while participating in the recently concluded 11th edition of the Army Staff talks in Bali.

The details of the meeting were shared on micro-blogging site X by the Additional Directorate General of Public Information, Indian Army.
The 11th Army to Army Staff Talks was held between July 8 to July 10.
"The interaction between both the Armies focussed on enhancing the bilateral Defence Cooperation, including Joint Bilateral and Multilateral Exercises, exchanges in Counter Intelligence (Psychological Operations), Jungle and Mountain Warfare," ADGPI said on X.

"Both the sides reaffirmed their commitment towards a robust India–Indonesia partnership in promoting regional peace and stability," the X post said.
India-Indonesia Relationship
India and Indonesia commemorated 75 years of establishment of diplomatic relations in 2024.
A number of activities were organised throughout the year including a joint logo design competition, Track 1.5 Jakarta Futures Forum in partnership with Observer Research Foundation and the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia which was attended by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs, Indonesia and Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Indonesia.
At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto paid a State Visit to India from January 23-26.
He also attended the celebrations of the 76th Republic Day of India as the Chief Guest.
He was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including several Ministers as well as Senior Officials of the Indonesian government and a business delegation.
This was the first visit of President Prabowo to India in his current capacity as President and coincided with the 75th Anniversary of India-Indonesia Diplomatic Relations, a milestone that reflects the enduring friendship and deep-rooted historical ties between the two countries.
