Trainee and instructor among those killed
The deceased have been identified as Sachin Bhatia from Gujarat and Abhishek Pujari from Karnataka. One of them was a trainee pilot, while the other was an instructor.
The four-seater aircraft took off from the Garg Aviation Training Centre at around 11:30 am and crashed around 20 minutes later while returning to the centre.

Instructor had around 3,000 hours of experience
Kanpur Nagar Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal said the instructor had around 3,000 hours of flying experience.
“We have got information about the instructor. He had an experience of around 3,000 hours,” Lal was quoted as saying by NDTV.
“The DGCA has been informed. Their team will conduct a thorough investigation. The police have protected the entire area,” he added.
DGCA to investigate crash
Emergency services and authorities rushed to the crash site soon after the incident.
Officials said the aircraft crashed after losing control. The exact cause of the crash, however, is yet to be determined.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been informed and is expected to conduct a detailed investigation.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the families of the two pilots who lost their lives in the crash.
