Indian PM Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the nation on Diwali when he urged people to buy Indian products and support local artisans.

In his 'Swadeshi' push, Modi said: "Let’s mark this festive season by celebrating the hardwork, creativity and innovation of 140 crore Indians."

On the eve of Diwali, Ayodhya entered the Guinness World Records by lighting over 26 lakh oil lamps.
The city marked the largest-ever Saryu aarti.
The mega event was hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department in collaboration with the Ayodhya District Administration.
