Modi shares aerial video of Victoria Memorial on social media
Kolkata/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared a striking aerial video of the iconic Victoria Memorial on his social media handles, offering a sweeping view of one of Kolkata’s most recognisable heritage sites.
The clip captures the grand white marble monument and its surrounding gardens from above, highlighting the city’s colonial-era architecture and urban landscape.
“Took this video of the Victoria Memorial while heading to the historic rally in Kolkata a few days ago!” he posted on social media.
The Prime Minister’s post quickly drew attention online, with users praising the visual tribute to Kolkata’s historic charm.
PM Modi was in Kolkata to address a major political rally at the Brigade Parade Ground.
Such “Brigade rallies” are high-profile events in West Bengal’s political landscape, typically held ahead of elections or to energise party workers and supporters.
His visit was aimed at strengthening the party’s outreach and campaign presence in the state ruled by Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress.
