Multiple schools in Delhi evacuated after receiving bomb threat message
New Delhi/IBNS: Several schools in the national capital received bomb threats, forcing evacuation and security checks, media reports said.
Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka, Modern Convent School, ShreeRam World School in Sector 10, Dwarka were among the educational institutions that received the threat.
The threat was received over mail.
Police, bomb disposal squads and Delhi Fire Service rushed to the schools and started security searches.
On July 18, over 50 schools in Delhi had received bomb threats over mail.
Abhinav Public School (Rohini Sector 3) and Richmond Global School (Paschim Vihar) were among the schools that had received the threat.
Authorities responded immediately, schools were evacuated, and teams from the Delhi Police, bomb disposal units, fire services, and dog squads were deployed to search for any devices or suspicious items.
No explosives or suspicious objects were found at any location.
