Pune woman raped by man posing as delivery boy, police probe on
Pune/IBNS: A woman in a posh society in Pune was allegedly raped by a man who posed as a courier delivery boy, media reports said.
The accused entered the society in the Kondhwa area of the city at around 7:30 pm on Wednesday.
Even as the woman said she hadn't ordered anything, the accused asked for a signature.
When the woman went inside the flat for a pen, the accused entered and locked the door.
The woman is not able to recall what happened after that.
The probe officers suspect the accused then sprayed something on the woman's face to make her unconscious and raped her.
The man also warned her not to report to the police with a message on her phone. He even clicked selfies and her photos threatening to leak them online if she reveals the incident.
Police are trying to nab the person, whose face was visible in the CCTV footage recovered from the area.
