USA: Road mishap in Texas leaves four Indians dead
At least four Indians died in a road mishap in Texas state of the USA on Friday.
According to reports, the victims of the mishap were connected through a carpooling app.
They were reportedly on their way to Bentonville in Arkansas when the accident occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Aryan Raghunath Orampati, of Hyderabad, Farooq Shaik, a friend of Aryan, Lokesh Palacharla, another Telugu speaker and Darshini Vasudevan from Tamil Nadu, reported Deccan Chronicle.
According to reports, fire engulfed the vehicle in which the victims were travelling, leading to their deaths.
Approximately five vehicles were involved with one vehicle on fire, NBC DFW reported quoting the Collin County Sheriff.
The Anna Police Department has started investigating the case.
Mastan Vali, father of Farooq, told The Times of India, "For the last three years, my son had been in the US for his M.S. course, which he completed recently."
