Assam Rifles seize illegal liquor worth Rs. 15 lakh from Jiribam
Manipur: In a significant crackdown on illicit liquor trade in Jiribam district of Manipur, Assam Rifles seized 1,800 cases of country-made liquor valued at approximately Rs 15 lakhs in Leinangpokpi of Jiribam district on Wednesday. The operation also resulted in the apprehension of two individuals involved in the illicit trade.
The operation led to successful seizure of the country made liquor underscores the commitment of Assam Rifles in curbing illegal activities and enforcing law and order in the region.
