Actor Sarath Babu in critical condition, on ventilator in Hyderabad hospital
Hyderabad/UNI: The health condition of popular actor Sarath Babu (71) has taken a turn for the worse, according to recent reports.
Sarath Babu was admitted to the AIG Hospital in Gachibowli on April 20 due to illness and is currently on a ventilator.
Doctors have confirmed that Sarath Babu's infection has spread throughout his body including kidneys, liver, lungs and they are unable to provide a full update on his condition until a few more hours have passed.
Sarath Babu, whose real name is Satyanarayana Dixit, is a well-known actor who entered the Telugu film industry with the movie 'Ramarajyam' in 1973.
He has acted in over 200 films in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, playing a variety of roles from hero to villain and character artist.
Some of his notable movies include Mudu mulla Bandham, Seethakoka Chiluka, Samsaram Oka Chadarangam, Annayya, and Apadbhandavudu.
