Figuring out how to resume work without mother's guilt: Deepika Padukone
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone, who took a break from films since motherhood, has recently spoken about her plans to resume work.
Deepika, who is married to popular actor Ranveer Singh, gave birth to her daughter Dua in September 2024.

She said as quoted by various media, "I think where I'm at in my life right now is how do I manage my time as a mother, as a new mother, with getting back to - and I'm sure there are some incredible women here who can give me some wise, some wisdom, whatever-- but to be able to manage my daughter and her life and getting back to work without feeling guilt.
"I think that is something I'm figuring out. I won't say I am struggling with it, but I'm still figuring it out."
Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Om Shanti Om, has emerged as the one of the leading superstars in the Hindi film industry over the years banking on countless blockbusters and films with critical acclaim.
The superstar has also spoken about how her body of work post motherhood may get changed, at least "unconsciously".

Having said that, I do believe that I've been pretty aware and conscious even before motherhood," the 39-year-old said.
Deepika had a dream run in 2024 with three blockbusters, starting with Fighter, then Kalki 2898 AD and finally Singham Again.
Among the three, Kalki 2898 AD- starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan in the lead- went on to shatter several box office records.
