Hoichoi launches trailer of Soumitrisha's debut web series Kaalratri
Kolkata/IBNS: Hoichoi has unveiled the much-anticipated trailer of its upcoming web series Kaalratri.
Directed by the talented Ayan Chakraborti, Kaalratri combines the allure of family drama with the murder mystery.
The trailer showcases what should have been the happiest day of Debi’s life — her wedding day. But when her close friend Maya foretells a grim prophecy, warning that her husband, Rudra Roy Barman's life is in danger, the joy turns into terror.
The nightmare comes true when there’s a murder in the family the very next day. As the Roy Barman family reels from the shock, a deep-seated web of secrets, betrayals, and scandals begins to unravel.
Every family member becomes a suspect in the murder investigation, led by DSP Satyaki Sanyal. With each revelation, Debi finds herself navigating an intricate maze of mystery, deceit, and danger as she struggles to uncover the truth behind her husband's untimely death.
"Being my web debut, Kaalratri holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience this gripping story. My character Debi's journey is intense and emotional, and portraying her was both challenging and exciting," said Soumitrisha Kundoo.
The series will premiere on Hoichoi on December 6.
