Is Shah Rukh Khan set to collaborate with Pushpa famed director Sukumar?
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is likely to collaborate with Pushpa famed director Sukumar, a report by midday said.
Though earlier it was a rumour that Shah Rukh will collaborate with Sukumar for a psychological thriller, now reports claim that the 59-year-old will play an anti-hero in a rural political action drama.
"King Khan will play an anti-hero, but this will be a rural political action drama that promises to show him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar that blends his mass appeal with his global superstar image. It will also explore social issues like caste and class oppression," a source told mid-day.
Even if the report comes true, the countless fans of SRK will have to wait quite long for the film to actually come in cinemas as both the director and actor have a lot on their plates to finish off.
Sukumar will next direct Ram Charan in RC 17, then make Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 3: The Rampage and another film with Ram.
SRK, who had no release in 2024, will return to shooting mode with King, co-starring his daughter Suhana Khan this May.
The actor will then proceed to Pathaan 2, a sequel to his 2023 comeback film Pathaan.
