Mimi Chakraborty unveils teaser of her upcoming music video Porleh Mone Jei
Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali film star Mimi Chakraborty on Friday unveiled the teaser of her upcoming music video Porleh Mone Jei.
Mimi dropped the teaser on her official YouTube channel Mimi Chakraborty Creations on the inaugural day of Valentine's week.
The 34-second teaser gives a glimpse of the music video which is all about love and romance.
In the video, Mimi is seen wearing a pair of jeans and a long coat as she delves into romanticism.
In her last music video Bhallagchena, Mimi talked about emancipation and the song was viewed as her way of responding to the trolls and social media judgements.
Mimi, who has been in the Kolkata film circuit for over 15 years, made her singing debut with a single in her 2019 film Mon Jaane Na, where she starred alongside Yash Daasguptaa.
She had sung the reprise version of Keno Je Toke song from the film, which was directed by Shagufta Rafique.
Mimi then went on to produce her own music videos, beginning with Anjana in 2019. Some of her other music videos are Pal, Pari Hun Main et al.
On her acting front, Mimi was last seen in Bangladeshi film Toofan, which was a massively successful film in Dhaka.
The actress, who will turn 36 this month, is expected to feature next in Hoichoi web series Dainee.
She will also feature in Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's Raktabeej 2. The film is a sequel to the 2023 film Raktabeej where Mimi played a cop for the first time in her career.
