"Every time something like this happens, it chips away at our shared humanity. May those souls rest in peace. And may those left behind find strength somehow - though I don't know how we even begin to ask that of them."
"Soo heart broken by #Pahalgam Attack . Such a beautiful place with kind hearted people . Condolences to all the families, near and dear of the victims. May their innocent souls rest in peace . Truly Heart breaking," said Allu Arjun.

"This heinous attack should shake the conscience of humanity. This will haunt us for a long time. To those grieving, displaced, mourning, and living in fear, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm so deeply anguished by this."

Details about the attack
The terrorists reportedly asked the victims to chant Islamic verse, pull down their pants to check circumcision in a bid to confirm their Hindu identities before gunning them down. Two among the dead were non-Muslim foreigners.
The attack, which coincided with US Vice-President JD Vance's four-day India visit, has left the booming tourism and the Centre's normalcy drive in jeopardy.
The tourists have already rushed to move out of the valley, which is called India's Switzerland and a paradise over its scenic beauty.
According to a report by The Indian Express, officials said the terrorists chose the peak tourist season in the valley, the cause of relentless Pakistan-sponsored attacks on India, to execute the plans.
