Theatres erupt as PM Modi appears in Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Mumbai/IBNS: Theatres erupted in loud cheers when a clip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared in a scene from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar.

Several videos circulating on social media captured audiences whistling, cheering, and raising pro-Modi slogans as his 2014 swearing-in footage played on screen as part of the film.

Viewers were seen reacting enthusiastically each time the Prime Minister featured in the politically charged narrative, which also incorporates his demonetisation announcement in a key sequence.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has stormed the box office with a massive opening collection of ₹240 crore, reportedly surpassing previous records set by Baahubali: The Beginning.

In the film, Ranveer Singh appears to take control of Pakistan’s Lyari town following the death of gangster Rehman Dakait, portrayed by Akshaye Khanna.
The trailer also showcases Singh in dual roles — Jaskirat Singh Rangi and Hamza — hinting at a layered and intense storyline.
Packed with high-octane action, the film features R. Madhavan as strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam.
