Unseen BTS: Check out how Ranveer Singh turned into Pinda's drug-induced hallucination in Dhurandhar 2
Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge has set the Box Office records on fire since it released last week, and now the makers have released a BTS moment where the lead actor can be seen transforming into a scary 'illusion'.
The movie has already earned appreciation from fans for the fine detailing of the characters and the intense visuals.
One such moment in the movie is the scene where Ranveer Singh, playing the leader role named Hamza Ali Mazari, is seen fighting his childhood friend-turned-drug dealer Pinda (played by Udaybir Sandhu) in an intense action-packed sequence.
In the scene, Pinda, who was high on drugs, saw Hamza as an illusion.
Hamza, as the illusion, could be seen sporting an ash-grey complexion, white hair, and dark veins on his body.
The credit of transforming Ranveer Singh into the haunting character goes to makeup and prosthetics designer Preetisheel Singh.
Singh shared the BTS moment on Instagram with an intense caption that reads: "When your mind grows weary, illusion paints its lies in colours you ache to believe!!"
"Transforming Ranveer Singh into a Ghost born of Shadows ! Dhurandhar- The revenge," the Instagram caption said.
Box Office stormed
Meanwhile,Dhurandhar: The Revenge is on a record-breaking spree, delivering a massive surge at the box office and cementing its status as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
The spy thriller witnessed a huge jump on Day 3, collecting ₹113 crore nett on Saturday alone, according to Sacnilk.
With this, the film’s three-day domestic total has climbed to an impressive ₹296.27 crore nett, after opening with ₹102.55 crore on Thursday and earning ₹80.72 crore on Friday. The sharp rebound on Saturday signals strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience momentum.
The film’s performance globally has been equally remarkable. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already crossed the ₹500 crore mark worldwide, with overseas earnings estimated at ₹96.50 crore, taking the total global haul to around ₹501.04 crore in just three days.
A major driver of this success has been its exceptional overseas traction, particularly in North America.
The film secured one of the widest releases ever for an Indian movie in the region, playing across 4,405 shows.
Even before spot bookings, advance sales for Day 3 had crossed two lakh tickets, generating nearly ₹23.70 crore, reflecting massive anticipation among audiences.
Trade analysts suggest the film is on track to register one of the highest single-day collections for an Indian film in the North American market.
The momentum is not limited to the US and Canada. In the UK as well, the film is drawing packed houses, with reports of multiple sold-out screenings, including seven houseful shows in a single day in Belfast.
