15 noted thieves arrested in last 18 days by city police
One after one successive operation, the capital city police has managed to curb growing incidents of stolen cases across the city and within the last 18 days, altogether 15 noted thieves were arrested only by West Agartala police station.
In another administrative reshuffle, altogether 13 police officers including one IPS and 12 TPS Grade-II officers in different wings of state police.
The General Administration (Personnel and Training) department through a notification issued on Saturday said that six Dy.SPs of the state police were transferred as new subdivisional police officers (SDPOs) for Teliamura, Longtharai Valley, Sabroom, Kamalpur, Santirbazar and for Udaipur subdivisions.
Among the transferred police officer one IPS officer Mourya Krishna Chandrasekar posted as assistant SP of North Tripura district has been transferred as new SDPO of Santirbazar and other TPS grade-II officers were transferred as SDPOs, Dy.SPs in Crime Branch, Traffic unit, PHQ, GRP, CIAT and in Home Guard organizations.
