ABVP leads statewide student uprising in Tripura against terror attack on tourists in Kashmir

In a powerful and emotional response to the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Tripura Pradesh, led massive student protests across the state. From Dharmanagar in the North to Sabroom in the South, students poured onto the streets in a unified voice of resistance, patriotism, and solidarity.

The ABVP has strongly condemned the “barbaric and cowardly” assault, which claimed the lives of innocent tourists, calling it a direct attack on India’s pluralism and unity. “This is not just an act of violence—it is an attack on the very soul of Bharat,” the organization stated.

State Secretary of ABVP, Gaurab Das, addressed the media during one of the protest events, declaring, “This is not the time for silence. This is the time to march united on the path of national integrity and to take an unyielding stand against terrorism.”

Thousands of students took part in rallies, holding the tricolour high and raising slogans against terrorism. The demonstrations aimed not only to mourn the loss of lives but to awaken the spirit of national unity among the youth.
