ADM-Gomati district, Pankaj Chakraborty suspended

The additional district magistrate (ADM) of Gomati district, Pankaj Chakraborty has been suspended by the state government and has also initiated a disciplinary proceeding against the senior TCS officer.

A notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of Tripura said that a disciplinary proceeding against Pankaj Chakraborty, TCS, SSG and ADM of Gomati district is contemplated.

The order said that competent authority in exercise of the powers conferred the Central Civil Services Rules, 1965 has suspended Chakraborty with immediate effect and ordered that during the period that this order shall remain in force, the headquarters of Pankaj Chakraborty will be at the office of the DM and Collector of Unakoti district, Kailashahar and he shall not leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission of the competent authority.
