Agartala press club condemned Pradyot’s behaviour with a scribe
The Agartala press club strongly condemned the behaviour of Tipra-Motha’s supremo and former chairman Pradyot Kishore Debbarma towards a media person during a press meet held on Monday.
On Monday, Pradyot Kishore addressed a press conference at ‘Rajbari’ highlighting the political activities of his party and during the press conference, one journalist Pranab Shil when raised question over his statement on the second day of plenary session of Motha.
But, after hearing the question Pradyot Kihsore became furious and started threatening journalist Pranab Shil, raising finger towards him.
The Agartala press club’s secretary Ramakanta Dey through a press statement said that the behaviour of state’s main opposition party’s former chairman is unwise and unfair towards media persons. Dey said media persons have every right to ask questions, but nobody can snatch the rights of media persons.
He condemned the incident and hoped that such kind of incident will not repeat again.
