Another young housewife body recovered with multiple injuries in Salema
Within 24-hours of recovery of half-burnt body of an unidentified young woman from a rubber garden under Srinagar police station in West Tripura district, in another sensational incident, body of another young woman recovered from the backyard of her father house near Salema Motorstand under Dhalai district on Tuesday morning, which was laying in a pool of blood.
Police sources said that the Salema police station has received information that a body of a young housewife was lying in a pool of blood at the backyard of her father's house.
Immediately, police along with a Forensic team rushed to the spot and collected all circumstantial evidence from the crime scene. Police sent the body to a local hospital morgue for autopsy.
While speaking with local media persons, a senior police official said that the deceased woman was identified as Lipika Sharma (28), who was living in her father's house after separation with her husband a few years ago.
Police added that they have noticed a deep cut injury on the mouth of the deceased along with multiple injuries on her back side of head.
Police after collecting all evidence from crime-scene have started an investigation to identify the suspected killer and claimed that after findings of forensic and autopsy reports, they will ascertain over the nature of the death.
Meanwhile, the father of the deceased woman claimed that his daughter after separation with her husband had developed a relationship with one Sujit Das of Salema and he suspected that Sujit was responsible for the gruesome murder of his daughter.
It may be recalled here that on Monday morning in a sensational incident, the half-burnt body of an unidentified young woman was recovered from a rubber garden under Srinagar police station in West Tripura district in mysterious circumstances.
Police sources claimed that preliminary investigation suggests that the woman may have been murdered elsewhere and her body dumped inside the interior of a large rubber garden at Kali Tilla. Police suspect that the miscreants attempted to destroy evidence by setting the body on fire using kerosene oil and dry bushes.
