AR seized large quantities of dry Ganja, detain a smuggler
The Assam Rifles Battalion in a joint operation with Ambassa police station has apprehended one drug peddler along with dry Cannabis on Wednesday.
Assam Rifles sources said that based on credible information of move of Drugs joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles with police representatives from Betbagan Naka under Ambassa Police Station and apprehended drug peddler along with 25 kilograms of Marijuana (dry Ganja) worth approximately Rs 5 lakh from general area Ambassa .
The apprehended individuals along with seized dry Cannabis were handed over to Ambassa police station for further investigation and legal proceedings. Assam Rifles have demonstrated its commitment towards drug free society.
