Assam rifles destroy Ganja plants worth Rs. 1.5 cr
Continuing its war against drugs and illegal Cannabis (Ganja) plantation, Assam Rifles destroyed 30,000 illegal plantation of Marijuana worth Rs. 1.05 Cr in local areas of Lembucherra under West Tripura district on Sunday.
Assam Rifles sources said that a joint operation was launched along with the representatives of the state Police and TSR; the joint teams destroyed the illegal plantation.
Approximately 30,000 illegal Ganja fully grown plants were destroyed and burnt having an approximate market value of Rs 1.05 crore.
