Assam Rifles organises media interaction in Agartala
Assam Rifles organized a media interaction chaired by DIG, Agartala Sector on Tuesday (February 27). The gathering witnessed the participation of sixteen representatives from various media houses. The objective was to strengthen collaboration and cooperation with the media in the state.
The journalists were briefed about Assam Rifles' crucial role in maintaining security and its joint efforts with state authorities for societal benefits. During the interaction, Assam Rifles highlighted its commitment to empowering the youth in Tripura through initiatives like Pre-Recruitment Training, career counselling sessions, education provisions in remote villages and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, which includes rigorous NDPS operations in the state.
The aim of engaging with the media was to foster mutual collaboration with Assam Rifles. Media representatives appreciated the invitation and expressed gratitude for being briefed on the welfare activities undertaken by Assam Rifles for the local population.
