Assam Rifles seized large quantities of Ganja from Sepahijala district
Assam Rifles seized 62 kgs Ganja (Marijuana) worth Rs 27.9 Lakh from general areas Krishna Tula of Sepahijala district of Tripura on Friday.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence). The team seized 62 kgs of Ganja worth Rs 27.9 Lakh from Krishna Tula area under Sepahijala district of Tripura. The contents were concealed under the soil in a hilly non-agricultural land. Seized contents were handed over to DRI for further investigation and legal proceedings.
