Bank employee’s body recovered in mysterious condition
The body of an out-sourcing staff of Santir Bazar branch of State Bank of India (SBI) was recovered in a mysterious condition at the bank of a tributary at Laogang area under Santir Bazar police station of South Tripura district.
Police sources said that the body of the deceased man identified as Jayanta Baidya (32) was recovered at the bank of a tributary, who was missing since Monday.
The local villagers on Tuesday noticed the incident and informed local police authorities, which has created panic in that local area.
Sources suspected that deceased might have committed suicide and the condition, in which body was recovered, is very suspicious and suspected murder cannot ruled out. While, police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Police also said that they started investigation by registering an unnatural death case, but till the finding of the autopsy report, they cannot say anything specifically over the nature of death.
