Bike-scooty collided face on at Rabinbazar, one killed, one injured
In a tragic road mishap, one scooty rider died on the spot and another motorbike rider suffered critical injuries , when their scooty and bike collided face on with heavy speed at the National Highway- portion of Nalgaria under Ranirbazar police station on Sunday afternoon.
Police sources said that motorbike rider identified as Sanak Debnath (27) of Nalgaria moving towards Agartala and another scooty was coming from opposite direction, but both of them due to their heavy speed collided face on at a juncture in Nalgaria and suffered critical injuries.
After hearing the heavy sound of the crash, local people rushed to the spot and they immediately informed police and firefighters.
Firefighters rescued both riders and shifted them to the trauma centre of GB Hospital in critical condition, where visiting doctors declared the unknown scooty rider brought dead, while, admitted seriously injured motorbike rider Sanak Debnath.
Police added that the accident occurred due to rash and negligence riding and police have initiated an investigation to identify the deceased scooty rider.
