Ahead of the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an important organizational meeting at the State Guest House in the capital city on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed in detail the party’s election preparations, organizational activities and future strategies for the polls.
The meeting was attended by BJP national general secretary B. L. Santosh, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Samit Patra, state BJP president Abhishek Debroy, along with other senior leaders and dedicated party workers.
During the meeting, emphasis was laid on further strengthening the party’s organizational preparedness, increasing the involvement of workers at the grassroots level and highlighting the various development initiatives of the government before the people.
The leaders also reviewed the prevailing political situation and conveyed a message to party workers to work unitedly to ensure success in the upcoming elections.
Political observers termed the meeting significant as it was held in the presence of the party’s national leadership. Sources said important directions were given to intensify BJP’s organizational programmes and campaign strategies in the coming days ahead of the elections.
