BJP's Biplab Kumar Deb wins West Tripura LS seat with huge margin
Both BJP candidates of Tripura, who are leading since first round of counting of polled votes across counting locations of Tripura, former chief minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha member, Biplab Kumar Deb declared winner from West Tripura parliamentary constituency with huge margin and defeated his nearest rival and Tripura Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha.
While, the BJP candidate for East Tripura parliamentary seat, Kriti Singh Debbarma is also leading with a huge margin from nearest rival candidate of CPIM's Rajendra Reang.
Altogether nine candidates are contesting in the politically important West Tripura seat while in East Tripura LS seat, reserved for the tribal, also nine candidates are in the fray.
