BJP’s online membership drive extended up to Nov 21st
The ongoing membership drive of the ruling BJP has been extended up to November 21st next.
The Tripura Pradesh unit of BJP through a press statement said that as per the decision of the party’s central committee, the online membership will continue up to November 21st. The Pradesh unit of the BJP has already reached above 9 lakh members online and they have decided to raise these number one more lakh.
The statement appeals to all grass-root party workers to spread the message of extension timeline for online membership and has urged all Mandal leaders to fill up their respective target.
While, the party through another press statement said two booth members of number-18 of Khowai Mandal were suspended as both of them were involved in anti-social activities and had also involved heinous crime.
BJP’s media in-charge, Sunit Sarkar through a statement said that as per the order, signed by party’s general secretary Amit Rakshit, both booth members, Subrata Das and Ajoy Das involved with anti-social activities and after their involvement in crimes, the state leadership of the party issued their suspension order with immediate effect.
It may be recalled here that on Thursday both Subrata Das and Ajoy Das were arrested in a rape case.
