BSF foils attempts of border smuggling, seizes huge quantities of contraband
In the intervening night of July 29th and 30th, alert troops of BSF of Tripura frontier, in various operations foiled smuggling attempts on Indo-Bangladesh border.
In separate operations large number of cattle were rescued in addition huge quantity of Ganja and other contrabands worth Rs. 9,28,126 were also seized which includes Indian currency and Bangladeshi taka amounting to 48,181 in different denominations.
BSF has enhanced the operations and strengthened the domination along the border to prevent trans border crime. Consistent efforts of BSF are contributing in reducing the drugs menace in Tripura.
