BSF seized Brown Sugar from Kumarghat railway station
The Border Guards in a joint operation with Railway Protection Force (RPF) has seized 290.50 grams of suspected brown sugar worth Rs 1.45 crore at Kumarghat railway station from the general coach of Silchar Agartala express.
BSF through a press statement said that the consignment was packed in six soap cases kept in two packets .Soap cases were wrapped as a gift packet to avoid the suspicion or detection by security personnel. No apprehension could be made as the packets were seized in abandoned condition. Further investigation is going on.
