BSF Tripura Frontier observed the 12th International Day of Yoga on Sunday with enthusiasm across all BSF campuses and remote Border Out Posts (BOPs) in the state.
This year’s theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” was highlighted through mass yoga sessions conducted at various locations. BSF personnel not only practiced different ‘yoga asanas’ but also interacted with the border population, creating awareness about the benefits of yoga.
Smt. Princee Rani, Inspector General, BSF Tripura Frontier, along with officers, Seema Praharis and BWWA members, participated in the yoga sessions and reaffirmed their commitment to a healthy, balanced and disciplined lifestyle.
The observance reflected BSF’s continued emphasis on promoting yoga as a way of life for improving the physical fitness, mental wellness and overall well-being of Seema Praharis deployed along the borders.
