BSF-Tripura organized ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan’
Keeping in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a clean and healthy India. The Tripura frontier headquarters of Border Security Force (BSF) organized first phase of "SWACHHATA HI SEVA PAKHWADA" from September 15th to September 30, 2023.
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi, on 1st October, together by Seema Prahari for one hour, a special programme to clean the Mohanpur road was organised from morning 10 AM to 11 AM. Approximately 5 kms road was covered under this Abhiyan. Similar types of programme at 21 places in Tripura have been organized by under command formations. In addition to programme at public places, BSF campuses and remote bordering area were also included in this drive.
At frontier headquarters RK Singh, DIG (PSO), Officiating IG was the chief guest. He reiterated the importance of cleanliness in our life and conveyed the message of Prime Minister of India ,Narendra Modi to Seema Praharies. Other officers and Seema Prahari also participated in the programme and spread the awareness amongst the citizens to keep their locality and surrounding area neat and clean to enjoy the healthy and hygienic life.
BSF is promoting and valuably contributing to the noble cause of “Swachhata Abhiyan.” Since the launch of Abhiyan in 2016, and is contributing effectively in “Clean India, Beautiful India.”
