Citizens, organizations unite in flood relief initiatives
In response to the ongoing flood situation in Tripura, people from various sections of civil society are coming forward to assist the administration.
On Facebook, Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha shared that a delegation of Rural Program Managers (RPMs) working under the Panchayat Department of the Tripura Government visited the Secretariat today to contribute to flood relief efforts. They handed over a sum of Rs. 1,41,600 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
He further mentioned that today, Sima Chakma, a teacher at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School, along with her sister, Rakhi Chakma, donated Rs. 20,000 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
