CM hails Prime Minister’s leadership in honoring forgotten heroes
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that his leadership has enabled the entire nation to remember the forgotten heroes who made significant contributions.
Dr. Saha made these remarks while inaugurating the '75 Seemanta Gram Kranti Veero Ke Naam' event in Sabroom, South district.
"75 Seemanta Gram Kranti Veero Ke Naam" program is a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Many programs have been held in the state, and thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is now remembering the unsung heroes who were previously overlooked for their contributions. A few days ago, we conducted the 'Proti Ghore Sushasan' event, and on 15th August, we also celebrated 'Har Ghar Tiranga'. Following the directions of PM Modi, every person in the state hoisted the national flag said CM.
The CM said, “During the last 15th August, the people of the state were filled with excitement to celebrate this day. 'Each and every year, we commemorate 26th January and 15th August, but last year, people were particularly thrilled to observe these days. We had a profound sense of patriotism, but the energy and excitement were lacking. However, under the guidance of PM Modi we celebrated these days with enthusiasm. We hoisted flags in Dumboor reservoir , and through this program, PM Modi aimed to honor the unsung heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Tripura, which shares an international border with Bangladesh, has selected 75 villages where various programs will be organized. This program was initiated by PM Modi on March 12, 2021.'
The CM also emphasized the importance of the younger generation being aware of the individuals who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He urged everyone to share their stories and history with the younger generation."
