CM listens to public grievances in 45th edition of ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’

In the 45th edition of ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’, Tripura Chief Minister Dr  Manik Saha listens to public grievances at his  official residence in Agartala  on Wednesday , extended condolences to the families of several people, including children, who tragically drowned in recent incidents across various parts of West Tripura district. Expressing deep sympathy, he handed over financial assistance of Rs4 lakh to each bereaved family.

Among those who received the financial support of the state government are Piyali Debbarma and Priyanka Debbarma  of Ramsadhu Para of Sidhai, child Ankush Hrishidas of Pratapgarh Hrishi Colony , Mahendra Singh of Jirania, Tanmoy Debnath of Sachindra Nagar colony of Jirania, Prasenjit Debnath of Brajanagar and Litan Saha of Ujan Abhoynagar.

In addition, the Chief Minister also spoke with families from different parts of the state who are suffering from various issues, such as medical treatment and land problems, and assured them that efforts are underway to resolve their concerns.

The Chief Minister was deeply moved by the story of a severely distressed family from Teliamura, whose young son Navin Roy Chowdhury is suffering from a complex eye illness, who has passed the Higher Secondary examination with good marks. Due to the family’s poor financial condition, they are unable to afford treatment. Upon hearing this, the Chief Minister assured immediate assistance and arranged for his prompt treatment.

To seek medical help, one Bijoya Bhattacharjee of Resham Bagun area of Agartala,  Khitish Chandra Das of Belonia North, and many others. Each one directly spoke to the Chief Minister about their problems, and he listened to them attentively. The Chief Minister assured them of all possible help and said steps will be taken to resolve their issues.

The Chief Minister also instructed the medical superintendent of GBP Hospital to take necessary steps to ensure these patients receive treatment and support without delay.

Moreover, an elderly woman, Namita Munda from Kamalghat shared her longstanding problem with the Chief Minister, who promptly gave directions for its resolution.

On Wednesday’s  ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ event, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department , Kiran Gitte, Secretary of Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapas Roy, Health Director Dr. Tapan Majumder and  GBP Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, IGM Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Debashree Debbarma, Regional Cancer Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. S Debbarma and other senior officials and members of the CM’s public outreach team were present.
