CM reviews Matabari tourist circuit with Union DoNER Minister
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Wednesday joined a review meeting with Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia to discuss the proposed Matabari Tourist Circuit project.
The circuit has been conceptualized as a 4-night, 5-day itinerary, covering Agartala – Neermahal – Sepahijala – Udaipur – Chabimura – Dumboor, reflecting Tripura’s diverse natural beauty, cultural heritage, and spiritual significance.
During the meeting, the DoNEr Minister expressed a positive response to the proposal and assured support for funding various developmental components of the circuit.
The Matabari Tourist Circuit is envisioned to give a major boost to tourism infrastructure, generate local employment opportunities, and position Tripura as a holistic tourist destination in the North Eastern region.
