CM to hold ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' virtually to help people in sub-divisions, districts
In an effort to provide additional assistance to distressed individuals in the state, Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha announced on Wednesday that he will conduct the 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' program through video conference to interact with people at the Sub-divisional and District levels who may find it challenging to travel to Agartala.
Following the weekly 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' program today, Dr Saha expressed satisfaction with the positive response from the public, stating that people are benefiting from this government initiative.
"I have been planning to directly engage with the people for a long time and launched Mukhyamantri Samipesu. Since its inception on April 12, 2023, people from every corner of the state have been participating every Wednesday morning. Many come seeking medical treatment for conditions like cancer and heart diseases, while others present various issues. I promptly instruct officials to address the concerns and sometimes involve local leaders who can resolve problems in their respective areas. We aim to provide immediate solutions to people's problems, and they are pleased with the results, including financial assistance in some cases," he explained.
Dr Saha also revealed his plans to extend this initiative through video conferencing at the District and Sub-divisional levels in the coming days.
"In this way, individuals facing issues can visit the Sub-division and District Magistrate office, where officials will be present to address their concerns. This approach aims to accommodate those who encounter difficulties traveling to Agartala. Our commitment is to work for the people's welfare, aligning with the path set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he added.
