Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha along with officials of Tripura and Delhi government on Saturday visited land allotted for construction of a new Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi.
On March 7, 2024 last, the Delhi Development Authority Institutional Land Branch allotted 2,930 square meters of land for construction of new Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi at Sector 17, Dwarka, Plot No. 3.
Soon the construction work for the proposed new Tripura Bhavan will begin and CPWD will construct a modern building for Tripura Bhavan.
During his visit to the plot, Chief Minister Dr Saha instructed all present officials of Tripura Bhavan and CPWD to prepare a modern and sophisticated building plan and to start the construction work as per the plan at the earliest.
The allocation of this land is expected to pave the way for the establishment of a prominent Tripura Bhavan in the heart of New Delhi, facilitate short accommodation for students, patient parties, citizens and officials of the state government during their stay at New Delhi.
Later, Chief Minister held discussion with Tripura Bhavan and CPWD officials to construct a multi-storey building at the abandoned land of Tripura Bhavan complex, located at Tikendrajit Marg of Delhi and also stressed on beginning of early construction works.
