CM vows for overall development aligned with 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas'
Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha said on Friday that the state government is diligently working towards overall development, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.'
“This government aims to collaborate for the state's development, working in the right direction for the overall welfare of the people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has guided us with the mantra of working towards development. The present government is committed to the welfare of people from all sections by following PM Modi's mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, he said.
Dr Saha said this while inaugurating a voluntary blood donation camp at ML Plaza on Mantri Bari Road in Agartala. The event was organized on the 26th death anniversary of late Makhan Lal Saha, the Chief Minister's father who was also a prominent businessman in the state.
During the event, the Dr Saha emphasized that people often strive to contribute positively to society on occasions such as death anniversaries, weddings, or birthdays.
He added, "People aspire to do good, to live happily and peacefully. The present state government places great importance on peace and harmony. The state is home to people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, and this government aims to foster unity among them. It is moving forward in that direction."
Dr Saha also highlighted the significance of blood donation, stating that there is no nobler and better donation than blood, as there is no substitute for it.
Reflecting on various aspects of his late father's life, Dr Saha described Makhanlal Saha as a very pious person.
The event was attended by Suryabala Saha, the wife of late Makhan Lal Saha, Dipak Majumder, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Ratan Saha (owner of ML Plaza), and other special guests.
