Congress gears up for Priyanka Gandhi’s road show in Agartala

Opposition Congress gears up to welcome their party’s  star campaigner and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra , who will arrive at Agartala on Tuesday and  will take part in a road show from  Agartala airport.

Congress sources  said that the road show which will be organized in support of the opposition INDIA Bloc candidates of two Lok Sabha constituencies, 1-West Tripura and 2-East Tripura will start from Agartala airport  and is scheduled to touch almost all important locations of the state capital Agartala.

Soon after her arrival at the airport, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will join a road show to appeal to the people to vote for the INDIA Bloc candidates in both the parliamentary constituencies and the assembly by-polls. Congress said that the road show from airport will passes through old Governor house, North Gate, Bidurkarta Choumohani, Rajbari, Jackson gate, Kaman Chowmuhani, Surya Choumohani, Paradise Chowmuhani, Battala, Durga Chowmuhani and will end at airport.

It may be recalled here that  Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha is contesting from the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency as the opposition INDIA Bloc nominee, former CPI(M) MLA Rajendra Reang is the opposition alliance candidate from the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.
